We also spread the awareness and support throughout the project by producing company’s procedures as well as training the Temporary works coordinators, supervisors and engineers to follow and implement the procedures throughout the project life.
As innovation forms part of our vision, we have used our creativity and developed a web portal and application to speed the process of understanding and implementing the procedures safely and correctly. We assure out clients the site support and train their operatives on site when required.
Webportal
We have created a web and application portal to simplify and speed the process for the temporary works coordinators and supervisors on site, where computers, tablets, and mobile phones can establish design briefs within few minutes, and all the designs are saved and organised on a web-based cloud, allowing the supervisors, engineers and professionals the ability to access the drawings live while they are on site as well as completing the permits to load and unload, which results in cost saving, efficiency and complience . We have clarity of how site based professionals work tirelessly focusing on the safety of others trying to achieve their cost effective and quality targets in limited time.
Our vision was focused to help and create a system to organise and simplify the process of temporary works while complying with the BS5975:2019.
The web application allows the engineers and Temporary works supervisors to complete and upload the permits to load and unload through their phone as well as add photos of the completed works. This allows the directors and managers to access at any time to ensure the works have been completed correctly.
This also applies to all the scaffolding systems as well, where there is a scaffolding check sheet that could be completed using a tablet or a phone, leaving notes and photos when required.
Once the temporary works permit is complete, an automatic notification will be sent to the coordinator of the temporary work every 7 days to renew the permit until the temporary works are removed from its location.
A unique QR code will be supplied to each site where it will be presented at the completed temporary works (similar to a Scaff-tag). Once the QR code is scanned by any device, the person will be allowed to access the flow information from the start of the design brief process including receiving designs and DCC, accessing photos of the completed works till the temporary works are removed, monitoring the site compliance and their safety.
Trainings
City Temporary work provides different trainings in temporary works which equip our clients with the necessary skills to be successful within the planning and executing.
The project by helping the site professionals execute the procedures as per the Approved Codes of practice as well as the British Standard 5975:2019.We help by training via our workshops which can be CITB or bespoke to company’s procedures. We can carry out our training on your work premises (site or office) or at a venue you choose.

Site inspections & support
At City Temporary Works, we have our own professional Temporary Works Co-ordinators which can support company’s sites by ensuring the sites’ compliance with the BS5975:2019 and to work as per the Temporary works Forum recommendation, by visiting the sites and providing the following services:
Inspection and report of the existing temporary works such as Hoarding Inspection and tower crane base inspection, or any other type Temporary Works
Site inspections (temporary works), designs, design briefs, Temporary works register, appointments of the TWC and TWS on site, compliance of the subcontractors.
Temporary Works Co-ordinator Role – Our temporary works team can act as your Temporary Works Coordinators and cover multiple sites, where we ensure the following:

Our temporary works co-ordinators have the experience to help the Project directors, project managers, site managers and site temporary works managers/ co-ordinators to co-ordinate their works through our web portal and web applications, where we train the individuals on how to use and monitor all the temporary works from the design process to the permits to load and unload via site visits or online we also give the support at anytime from our offices or through site visits if required. Each site will be treated as per the company’s requirement.
