Inspections and audits

Site inspections and audits are based on the agreed scope, information made available and conditions visible or sampled at the time of the assignment. They do not replace the responsibilities of the appointed project team, designer, design checker, Temporary Works Co-ordinator (TWC) or Temporary Works Supervisor (TWS).

Standards and procedures

References to BS 5975-1:2024, BS 5975-2:2024 and industry guidance are contextual. The exact standard, design basis and duty-holder responsibilities depend on the assignment and are confirmed in the agreed scope.
